• CS Mid-Week Match of the Week. Fulham 3-1 BHA.

  • Top 6. With the Cottager’s win over the Seagulls, both sides now sit in the top 6 of the PL clearly contending for a European Spot this year.

  • Did Fulham earn the 3 points or did BHA gift the 3 points.

    • Iwobi scores at 4’ off a GK error, 1-nil to FFC.

    • HT 1-0

    • Baleba gets it back for BHA, and all the momentum, at 56’ 1-1.

    • It’s an own goal and FFC take the lead off a poorly defended corner. 2-1.

  • FFC. The Cottagers have been solid. Good at home. Beating the teams they are supposed to beat and getting points on the road. We will see more of what they have as they have Arsenal at home and at Liverpool and Chelsea in their next 4.

  • BHA. The Seagulls, like the Cottagers, have been solid and their schedule is more “manageable” with 3 of their next 4 against the bottom of the table with a home game against Bee’s who struggle on the road.

• Everton +570 v Liverpool -240 SAT 630a - Get up early and watch the first match of the weekend, the Merseyside Derby. Throw the records out when this one is played. • Tottenham +212 v Chelsea +112 SUN 830a - The Blues are rolling and the way Spurs have been defending, this could get ugly at Hotspur Stadium. However, it really depends on which Spurs team shows up. The team that drilled City 4-0, United 3-0 and Villa 4-1 or the team that lost to Palace and Ipswich. The real draw might be the pressure on Ange. If Spurs get run out of the gym, might he be gone?

• Ipswich Town +236 v Bournemouth +101 SUN 8a - Now or never for the Tractor boys? Can’t lose back-to-back at home against teams you should be competing with. The Cherries are looking to jump into the top 6, or they could fall out of the top 10.

• Palace +430 v Man City -180 SAT 9a - City stopped the bleeding and that might mean Palace will need all they have to get points here.

• Fulham +420 v Arsenal -175 SUN 8a - Trap game for the Gunners but vibe around the club seems to say they will be fall into let down traps the rest of the way. Fulham sit top 6 and could make a statement here.

• Leicester City +340 v BHA -145 SUN 8a - Ruud got the result at King Power against West Ham, but it was the Hammers. BHA will be disappointed with their loss at Craven Cottage, can they regroup.

• Brentford +181 v Newcastle +128 SAT 9a - The Bee’s have been unstoppable at home. The Magpies are breaking out of their slump.

• Man United -166 v Forest +410 SAT 9a - Big match for both sides. No reason United should lose at Old Trafford, but the Trees have already taken points at Liverpool, BHA and Chelsea.

• Aston Villa -270 v Southampton +580 SAT 9a - On paper, this is all Villa in Birmingham. Another blowout loss may be a sacking for Russel Martin.

• West Ham -113 v Wolves +265 MON 2p - It’s possible whichever side loses will sack their manager. Maybe both will go with a draw. The fact Wolves are that big of underdogs tells you everything you need to know about their defense.

Current Situation 📈📉

• The top 13 teams all moved table positions except for Liverpool.

• Ipswich, Wolves and Southampton looked bad.

• How long can Ange last when sitting at 10 in the table, yet just sits 3 points out of 5.

• Chelsea, Arsenal and City all picked up 2 points on Liverpool.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025

The USA will host the FIFA Club World Cup next summer. Think of this as an every other year tournament, like the World Cup, but instead of Country National Teams, the teams are clubs form the best Leagues (like the EPL) from around the world.

This week the 32 teams were announced. Man City are the defending champions, winning in Saudi Arabia in 2023.

Qualifying is complicated. Basically, there are tournaments clubs may have won, or they generated enough “points” over a four-year window to be considered. Chelsea is in because they won Champions League in 2021 and Liverpool are out, even though they are “ranked” higher than Chelsea.

Here are the 32 teams. 2 from the PL, Chelsea and City. Europe has 12 teams, CONMEBOL (S America) has the next most with 6.

In a little bit of drama, Inter Miami (Messi) was given a “Host” spot even though they didn’t qualify in CONCACAF. They did win the 2024 MLS Supporters Shield.

Note - CS picks are released before line-ups are, make sure the player props are for players IN the line-up. Jackson did not play for Chelsea this week and Pedro for BHA did not play 2 weeks ago. Will still record those as losses to make it feel that much better when we get back to even.

Match Week 15 - Winners Only Please

Aston Villa to Win v Southampton -260. $104

Villa has more depth and gets another home match. Southampton are struggling. 2 Units on this one.

Brentford to Win v Newcastle +181. $20

This is a bet on Bee’s home record, and while Newcastle had a nice goal outburst home to Liverpool, I’m not convinced they are going to continue that scoring.

Chelsea to Win at Tottenham +108. $20

Chelsea to Win at Tottenham and O3.5 goals +256. $20

Yes, Spurs could show up and win this but there is so much drama around the club and I’m not sure who the leader is. Chelsea continues to get better, and they have so many options. The Blues have been scoring on the road. 2 units split across a win and a bigger win.
