So many reasons to think Burnley will ride their momentum, home turf advantage and City will come in hungover and overconfident. Former City Captain and current Burnley Manager, Vincent Kompany, knows Pep and what to expect, but…..here are some facts:

In the last 23 league matches between the two clubs Burnley is 0W 16L 6D.

I don't see Bournemouth firing on all cylinders out of the game in their new system, nor do I see West Ham going on the road and dominating. I just can’t decide who will win this - so I’m taking the odds on the draw.

Chelsea host Liverpool
Liverpool has been waiting all off season to show last season was a hiccup, and Klopp will have been preparing for a fast start this season. Chelsea is going to get better, but they have a lot of “new” to get used to. I don’t think playing at Stamford Bridge is enough for Chelsea to start the season.
