Arsenal & Liverpool - Show some Grit and take care of business.
Arsenal 2-0 Wolves. A late goal in the 1H and again in the second got the Gunners through.
Liverpool 3-1 Fulham. Liverpool rested many of their regulars and they got away with it.
Big Results. From Clubs that usually don’t have them. Burnley with a 4-1 win and Palace 5-2.
Forest. In a big relegation battle Forest got beat by Everton 2-0, but the conversation turned to Forest’s statement after the match.
Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.
We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.
NFFC will now consider its options.

Dyche. Sean Dyche is known for his classic suit and tie on the sidelines. Against Forest, he changed it up and went with the training suit. Will he keep it up?

West Ham completely dominated at Palace 2-5, could this be David Moyes demise?
Some big, rescheduled matches in the race for Europe scheduled for May 14. Man U- Newcastle, Spurs-City and BHA-Chelsea.
Relegation Race
Biggest Winners: Everton, Burnley, Palace, Brentford.
Biggest Losers: Luton Town, Sheffield United, Forest.

Palace’s Exe with a great finish.
Burnley dominated at Sheffield United 4-1, and Ari Muric, the Keeper for the Clarets was brilliant. The CS has called out Muric for mistakes lately but this week he was BRILLIANT.
What 2 Look 4 👀- Match Week 29 Mid-Week Reschedule
Title Race Implications🏆🏆🏆
Arsenal v Chelsea +600 Tue - London Derby - Both sides playing great. Chelsea’s leading scorer, Cole Palmer, may not play - so that is something to look for.
Everton v Liverpool -240 Wed - Merseyside Derby - The Merseyside River runs through Liverpool and these clubs are separated by less than a mile. While Liverpool are heavy favorites you never know what will happen when these rivals meet.
BHA v City -227 Thur - Tricky road test when City travel to the southern coast to take on the Seagulls. These are the kind of matches City typically grind out, but BHA can score, and an early goal could make this one interesting.
Europe Race Implications🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️
Man United v Sheffield United +525 Wed - Must win, convincingly, for United and a lot of pressure for Erik ten Hag. Of course they will take the three points, but anything but an impressive win over the last place Blades will bring more questions.
Wolves v Bournemouth +155 Wed - Both sides are playing for positioning and still hoping for top 10.
Palace v Newcastle +145 Wed - Palace must be riding high after the 5-goal performance last time out. Newcastle has posted the second most clean sheets so far this year and tend to defend well on the road. Could be a tight low scoring match with a Europe spot in play for the Magpies.
BHA v City -227 Thur- See Above.
Arsenal v Chelsea +600 Tue - See Above.
Relegation Implications🌋🌋
Everton v Liverpool -240 Wed - Merseyside Derby - See Above.
Man United v Sheffield United +525 Wed - See Above.

FA Cup
As a reminder, the FA Cup (Wiki) is an ALL England open competition that runs in parallel to the season.
The Finals are set - a Manchester Derby - United v City at Wembly Stadium in London, May 25.
Semi-Final Results
Man United (4-2) 3-3 Coventry City
All Time Classic. One of the biggest clubs in the world against a team in the Championship, the league below the Premier League.
United jumped out to a 2-0 HT lead and extended it to 3 at 58’. Coventry City came all the way back to tie it 3-3 by scoring at 71’, 79’ and 90’+5’. It looked like Coventry won the match in the 30’ of overtime, only to have the goal taken away by a controversial VAR call. The match went to Penalties where Man United missed their first but in the end won it 4-2.
This is the goal (X) called for offsides by VAR.
Here’s the VAR (X) angle, and the question is did the VAR ref draw the blue line OVER the boot of the Man United player.
City 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea missed several chances throughout the match, and it was Bernardo Silva off a cross from Kevin de Bruyne at the 84’ for the winner.
A little bit of redemption for Silva after his poor penalty kick in the Champions League.

El Classico - Real Madrid 3-2 Barcelona
El Classico #299. El Classico is any match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. The best description for the rivalry - “they hate each other with an intensity that can truly shock the outsider”. Barca lead the all-time series 124W 111L 64D. The are the only 2 teams never to be relegated out of Spain’s top League - La Liga.
Real Madrid beat Barca all three times they’ve played this year, 2-1, 4-1, 3-2. RM now sit 11 points ahead of Barca with 6 to play.
0-1 Barca at 6’ - Fast start (X) from Christensen.
1-1 at 18’ from a Vinicius Jr PK (X).
29’ Not a goal (X) - There is no goal line tech in La Liga, but this was a miss resulting in this response (X) after the Match from Barca - an appeal to be replayed.
1-2 - Lopez puts Barca in front (X) at 68’.
2-2 - Vazquez evens it up at 73’.
3-2 - Jude Bellingham’s match winner angle 1 X, match winner angle 2 X at 90’+1’.
Many frustrated Barca Fans - You Make the Call (X).
Video 1 - not a penalty.
Video 2 - yes a penalty.
Video 3 - not a goal.
45 Unbeaten - Bayer Leverkusen
97’ Drama. Bayer Leverkusen was down 0-1 in extra time at Borussia Dortmund. Then, at the 97’ mark, this happened (X). Nothing like a German League highlight in Spanish as an English speaker.
This is the longest unbeaten run ever for a team in Europe’s top 5 leagues. 38W 6 D 0L. Juventus (Italy) had 43 in 2011-12.
Leverkusen have already won their first ever Bundesliga (Germany) title in their 120-year history. They can break the all-time points record in the Bundesliga by winning out over their last 4, 92 points.
Happy Day KaipoE!
Germany may have the hottest team in the world these days - but it’s the Greeks who are winning - worth 90s of your time. (#ClimateScam)

Match Week 29 Mid-Week Rescheduled Matches
Chelsea to WIN at Arsenal +600. $20
The Blues have been playing well, 4W 4 D in their last 8 however their leading goal scorer, Cole Palmer, may be out with an injury. The Gunners are looking to stay top of the table but have won just once over their last 4 and showed some tiredness. Chelsea play to their competition, and I expect a tight match so will take the +600.
Palace Newcastle U2.5 goal +120. $20
Palace scored 5 last time out, but that was not their usual outing. Newcastle have 10 clean sheets on the season and seem to focus on defense on the road.
City to Win at BHA -170. $102
City has been playing high intensity matches and has a big run in to win the league. BHA is still in play for a European spot but just don’t have the depth or experience of City and Pep sets up his team to be playing best late. Laying the money again on City to Win.
Wolves to Win v Bournemouth +170. $20
Wolves have not won in 6. Cherries have been streaky this season and have lost 2 of their last 3. I think they make it 3 of 4.
Longshot of the Week. Wolves, MU, Liverpool all to Win +387. $20
