Headlines 📌

  • Best Result of Match Week 16. Villa v Arsenal 1-0. Really a 2 match best result - winning 1-0 against the top 2 teams in the table. Villa really dominated play against City but against Arsenal it was a much more even match. Villa played a very “high-line” (website) in both matches and the aggressiveness paid off and kept the Gunners and City off score sheet.

    • 15. That’s 15 home wins in a row for Villa.

    • Pitch Side. Great view (x 30s) of the goal and just how fast these guys move.

    • 1 is all you need. Villa at home - 4, 3, 3, 6, 4, 3, 3, goals scored. But, keep a Cleansheet and 1 is all you need.

    • Determination. Good 5 min breakdown (X) regarding the match by Robbie Earle and Phil Neville.

  • Fulham. Back-to-back 5-0 CleanSheets at Craven Cottage.

    • Maybe the best (X) of the 10 goals by Harry Wilson.

    • Another view (X) from a fans Mom 😄.

  • Best Ever PL Win. After starting the season winless in 9, and 1 win thru 11, Bournemouth have not lost in 5, with 4 wins. Is this the best Bournemouth win in the PL ever, 3-0 at Old Trafford? Player Adam Smith thinks so - “I think it’s got to be our best-ever Premier League win. It’s the theatre of dreams and we’ve never won here. I think the lads will remember it for a long time and it was unbelievable for the fans.”

  • 1962/1963. Man United have allowed 3 or more goals in 5 home games in all competitions for the first time since 1962/63. Interestingly, the latest loss came just after Man United won the player, manager (X) and goal of the month for November.

  • Everton. Sean Dyche has his team playing well with 3 wins in a row and 5 in 7. Would be sitting 10th without the 10-point deduction.

  • A Foot. Erling Haaland was a surprise scratch this weekend. He is dealing with a foot injury. He will most likely be rested for a couple weeks. NBCSports Article.

  • Tired Legs. Newcastle looked tired and Spurs took it to them. For those who follow closely, Spurs made a change by moving Son to the left wing. It paid off, as he contributed to 3 of the 4 goals.

  • 1 of 33. Had to double and triple check this stat. When Son took the Penalty (X) and scored the 4th goal of the match for Spurs against Newcastle, it was the first Penalty for Spurs all season. They have scored a lot of goals, 33, and only 1 is a penalty.

    • There are 2 other teams yet to have a Penalty shot this season: Everton, they’ve scored 20 goals on the season and Bournemouth, they’ve scored 21.

    • Chelsea and Arsenal have taken the most penalties, 6 each.

    • Here is a link to the data (Website).
