The CleanSheet officially turned 2 months old on September 9. It’s time to hear from you - our audience.

Asking for your thoughts on the CleanSheet. What do you like about it, what don’t you like? Want more or less of something? What’s missing?

Some questions/feedback received to date:

Question/Feedback: Thumbs up to the “table” in the Current Situation sections. Likes the 1 sentence summary.

Response: Thanks, will keep that as a feature.

F: Everyday emails are too much.

R: Agreed. During the “launch” and season preview decided to send one every day leading up to the season. Will reconsider that next year. Currently settled on 2x per week (Tuesday & Friday AM) for consistent newsletters with “breaking news” as needed.

F: Fewer “grammatical/spelling errors” would be nice.

R: Yep. Not a strength and have not been using an “reviewer” or “editor”. Will effort to clean those up, but I suspect if you read close enough you will continue to find som. 🙃 

F: More Twitter/X links, fewer YouTube links. Would prefer not to have the YouTube commercials.

R: Agreed. Will only leverage YouTube when the video cannot be found elsewhere and its one we want to add.

Q: How do I share the CleanSheet with others.

R: This would be much appreciated. Currently we are only going to grow via word of mouth and through Twitter/X page.

  • World Cup Qualifying for 2026 has started in South America. The competition is called CONMEBOL. Messi has picked up where he left off lifting Argentina to a win over Colombia. Here’s the goal and reaction. (X 1 min) wow

  • USMNT (ranked 11 in the world) played Uzbekistan (77) winning 3-0 and will play Oman (73) Tuesday 9/12 in “friendly’s”. Not really a big test and you have to wonder about the scheduling. The re-hiring of coach Greg Berhalter was a head scratcher after he was not retained after the world cup amidst scandal.
