This guy wins the award for owner you would never want to manage for but would probably put up with for a chance to manage one of the 20 EPL teams.
Evangelos Marinakis, owner of Forest has, has now sacked 2 managers 8 matches into the season. He is also the owner of Olympiakos (Greece) and since 2011 he has sacked 24 managers.
Reportedly, when Chelsea went up 2-0 at Forest Marinakis told the Technical Director of the club to inform Ange of his dismissal at Full Time.
Evangelos Marinakis earned a his $3B+ in Shipping and is the Founder of Capital Maritime & Trading, Greece. Also owns Greek club Olympiacos.
In 2018, Marinakis was charged with drug trafficking as one of his ships was found with over 2 tons of heroin worth $70M. NFFC Chairman, Nicholas Randall wrote an open letter to supporters reaffirming his support of Marinakis. In 2021 it was determined there was no evidence implicating Marinakis.
In soccer, Marinakis has been associated with various controversial allegations, including match-fixing and referee interference. However, he has been acquitted in all related cases.

 | What an important win for Man United. Going into their big North West rival and taking the lead at 2’. United played toe-to-toe with the defending champs. Liverpool did hit the woodwork several times and then looked like they were going to take a point when they tied it at 78’ but it was Harry Maguire who found the net just 6 minutes later and gave United a season to hope for. |
 | Spurs got off to a very quick start and then has what looked like a second that was taken away from VAR. |
 | Great effort by BHA at home taking a 1H lead 1-0, allowing Newcastle back into it but then winning it late. Was a pretty even match that could’ve seen a draw as a fair result, but BHA were better finishing.

 | WHAT A MATCH. The Cherries got off to a FAST start scoring as Kroupi scored 2 goals, one at 7’ and again at 38’ for a 2-0 HT lead. Yet, Palace had their own 2 goals in the 2H by Mateta to tie it up. Bournemouth took the lead back at 89’ but is was Mateta with the HAT TRICK getting a point for Palace at 90+7’ off a Penalty.

 | Leeds had so many chances in the 1H and 75% of the possession but could not find the net and Burnley countered in each have to take a big 3 points from the fellow promoted side at Turf Moor.

 | The Black Cats continue their hot start at the Stadium of Light taking 10 points of a possible 12 there. Wolves actually owned the stat sheet with double the shots (16-8) and more possession but again the Wolves cannot find the net. |
 | This could’ve been 6-0 Bee’s, shot after shot after shot hit the post or just missed. As for West Ham, what a low energy effort under new manager Nuno. This is West Hams worst start ever in the PL with just 4 points in 8 matches. |
 | Job done for the Gunners at Craven Cottage. Not pretty, but it is all 3 points and another clean sheet. FFC did have their chances but nothing that really threatened. Gunners stay top of table. |
 | A tight match throughout, Erling Haaland was the difference scoring 2 goals in 5’ to start the 2H and that is all City would need. |
 🟥=Red Card Impacted Match | What was a 0-0 draw at HT turned into all Blues when Chelsea scored 2 quick goals out of the half and that was all it took for Forest to have enough of Ange. A red card for Chelsea by Malo Busto at 87’ did not impact the outcome.

And just like that, Ange is out at Forest, 17 minutes after their 0-3 loss home to Chelsea.
Will be interesting to see where he ends up. He has won most everywhere he went. And while his record at Spurs was well below average, he did win a Europa League Cup.

Sean Dyche is considered to be the front runner for the job, the former Burnley and Everton manager is known for his conservative, defensive approach and keeping people up in the EPL. His style is also more like Nuno’s whereas Ange brought a completely different style that clearly did not fit the club.
So, for those counting, Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis sacked Nuno just 3 matches into the season and now Postecoglou just 39 days later - that is the SHORTEST permanent managerial tenure in the history of the EPL.
Speaking of Nuno - he is back to his winning ways leading West Ham to a win over Brentford in his first match with the Hammers.
Forest had a great year last year earning a spot in the Europa League, this season they seem to be in a spot to compete for a relegation spot.

Here come’s City. With Liverpool stumbling and bumbling suddenly Man City sit 2nd in the table.
Could Bournemouth become this year’s Leicester City and find a way to win the title? They are very good.
Villa have righted the ship.
All three promoted teams are out of the relegation zone.
Still a long way to go but fun seeing Sunderland, Palace, BHA and Everton exceeding expectations.
