 Result Changing Goal at 90+5’. | OUCH! Spurs are fighting to stay up and every point matters. They need wins. Xavi Simons put them up 2-1 at 77’ and it looked settled until BHA struck at 90+5’ to steal a point and put Spurs in significant jeopardy of relegation. |

Liverpool have score SIX 90th’+ winners against Everton in the PL - the most one side has against a single opponent in the history of the league. | Merseyside Derby - Liverpool stays Red. A win by Everton would bring Europe into play but let’s get real - this is about the Derby. Yet as has happened so often in the last 10 years Liverpool finds a way to dash the Toffee’s hopes. The 3 points should secure Liverpool in the CL next season |
 Result Changing Goal at 90+3’. (And back-to-back goals at 86’ & 87’) | Crazy Finish! Villa secure all three points and a 7-point cushion for the CL next season. Villa took the lead on Ollie Watkins goal at 2’ and extended it to 3-1 which stood until 86’ when Sunderland scored 2 goals in 1 minute. Yet it was Villa with the final statement. |
 Result Changing Goal at 85’. | Don’t Look Now But The Cherries are on a heater, no losses in their last 13 matches and are smack dab in the middle of the race for Europe. |

 | Ho-Hum West London Derby. Bee’s had the best chances but this was just a back alley fist fight in the rain. Sloppy, no real winner, but both sides can claim a point. |

European Qualifying

Champions League - 5 Spots
PL Table positions 1-5. (Traditionally 1-4, this season +1)
Europa League - 2 Spots
FA Cup Winners (City is already guaranteed CL, Chelsea, Southampton & Leeds could earn the bid)
EPL 6th table position
EPL 7th table position - IF FA Cup winner has already qualified for a better competition.
UEFA Conference League - 1 Spot
Carabao Cup Winners
EPL 7th table position (if cup winner already qualified higher - which this years winner, Man City, has).
EPL 8th table position - IF Europa League takes 7th spot.
1-2 ADDITIONAL SPOTS AVAILABLE - If you win a European Competition this year you qualify for the next highest lead next year.
Arsenal could win the Champions League this year, but they are already guaranteed qualification for next season anyway.
Aston Villa could win the Europa League this year, giving them the CL for next season, however they are most likely going to qualify via the table anyway.
Forest could win the Europa League this year, since they are way down the table that could mean an additional team from the EPL in the Champions League next season.
Palace could win the UEFA League this year, since they are farther down the table now that would mean they would earn a Europa League spot for next season.
If Forest and/or Palace win their League, that would add 1-2 more teams to Europe next season.
Here’s what is crazy for this season - there are 9 teams with a very realistic shot of finishing 6th in the table, and since 6-8 get a European spot, that means 3 of these 9 will play in Europe next season.
