Late Fireworks 🧨🧨

Crazy Turnaround. United took a 1H lead and held it until a Spurs goal tied it at 84’. Spurs then took the lead 2-1 at 90+1’ 🧨 only to concede off a corner kick at 90+6’ 🧨and the points were shared.

That’s 5 straight matches without a loss for revitalized United while Spurs struggles continue at home on the season, 1W 2D 3L.

📽️ See CS Video Links Below 🧨🧨

What a Brobbery. The Black Cats continue to overachieve at home, this time against league leaders Arsenal. Sunderland struck first and had the lead until the Gunners tied it at 54’ and then took the lead at 74’. It looked the Arsenal, who had allowed just 3 goals on the season were going to escape with the win until the Black Cats struck late 🧨at 90+4’ to earn a point.

Dan Ballard had a great game for Sunderland against his former club. 🧨

Late Goals - No Fireworks ⏰⏰⏰

Hammer Time. That’s 2 in a row for West Ham and it seems Nuno has figured some things out. Burnley put up a good fight scoring first and last but found the net 3 times in between. Burnley outshot West Ham and owned the possession but couldn’t keep the Hammer’s from scoring.

🟥 = Red Card Impacted Match

Trouble in Geordie Land. Newcastle took a 1-0 HT lead in West London but a quick goal to start the half by the Bee’s and then a red card to Dan Burn of Newcastle at 73’ turned the tide. The Bee’s scored at 78’ and then again late at 90+5’ to put the match away and take all three points.

Bee’s are starting to exceed expectations while Newcastle are not.

Newcastle deserved to lose in these kits.

Dyche Effect. Leeds scored first on the road at City Ground, but the Tree’s quickly recovered for their own 2 minutes later. A 1-1 HT game turned into all Forest with a goal at 68’ and then again late at 90+1’ to put it away.

Forest look like they are not ready for relegation while Leed’s is working their way back to that conversation.

Smooth Sailing ⛵⛵⛵⛵

Who the F are these guys. This one was tied 0-0 at HT, then eventually Chelsea’s pressure took over scoring 3 2H goals at 51’, 65’ and 73’.

Want to sum up Wolves season - never a good sign when over half your starting line-up is filled with guys you don’t have a picture for.

Back on Track. Everton leveraged a great crowd at Hill-Dickinson to solidly dispatch a FFC side who look like they will be struggling all season.

Everton scored late in the 1H and again late in the 2H to put this one away.

There they are. Remember Villa’s slow start to the season without any goals. Well, they decided to take any frustration they had out on the Cherries. Bournemouth did have some good chances, but they couldn’t overcome the 0-2 HT deficit. The result jumps Villa over Bournemouth in the Table. This is more like the Villa we saw last season and that is now 5 wins in their last 6 matches in the PL.

Statement Made. Liverpool lost 4 matches all last season. Thru 11 matches this season City gave them their 5th loss and their first goalless result. City, on the other hand, look like they are firing on all cylinders. The 3 goals could’ve been 6, including a penalty miss by Haaland. City looked energized, fast and decisive. Liverpool looked disinterested, tired and beat.

No Fireworks 🪢

Goalless. These sides had been scoring but decided not to for a weekend. A solid point for BHA on the road in this M23 derby.

Stats were pretty even, both had chances, shared points is the right result.
