What 2 Look 4 👀- Match Week 11

(reminder - like driving on the other side of the road, in the PL, HOME teams are listed first)

  • 5.5 Week. 5 Saturday, 5 Sunday.

GREAT Graphic to highlight BIG matches at the top and bottom of the table.

Top v Top

  • 4 Sunderland +731 v 1 Arsenal -255 SAT 1130a - Just how big is Sunderland’s home pitch advantage? Might as well find out this weekend. The Black Cat’s will try to press the Gunner’s and ride the energy of the home crowd for the full 90 minutes. Arsenal have allowed just 3 goals all PL season and have 10W 5D in their last 15 matches.

  • 2 City -113 v 3 Liverpool +266 SUN 1030a - Match of the Weekend. City have really started to figure things out. Liverpool seemed to have stop turned their poor play around. Arne Slott has gone back to his original lineup and Liverpool look more like themselves. Haaland and Foden are playing at a world class level. Can City get goal production out of anyone but Haaland and can Liverpool take away Haaland’s runs - will be a fun one to watch.

Bottom v Bottom

  • 19 Forest +121 v 16 Leeds +231 SUN 8a - Expect Sean Dyche to start getting more out of Forest and it helps getting a Leeds team on the road. In the last 34 games this one is all tied up at 11 wins each and 12 draws. Leeds have struggled to score on the road. Forest will take a defensive approach and may struggle to score themselves, but the City Ground fans will be the difference.

  • 18 West Ham -104 v 17 Burnley +285 SAT 9a - The Hammer’s finally came to life scoring 3 home goals and beating Newcastle. Burnley have been solid at home but struggled on the road. They have beaten the teams they should. In their last 5 matchups West Ham have 3W 2D 0L versus Burnley. Pressure is on the Hammer’s to back up their last win and get another 3 points at home. A win for Burnley would be another big three points in the effort to stay up.

Middle-ish v Middle

  •  11 Villa +115 v 5 Bournemouth +229 SUN 8a - Another big matchup at Villa Park and another big road game for Bournemouth who struggled at Man City last week and fell out of the top 2. In 11 matches Villa lead this one 5W 4L 2D. Will the Europe matches start catching up to Villa? Can the Cherries rebound after their first last in the last 9 matches.

  • 6 Tottenham +174 v 8 Man United +144 SAT 630a - Both sides sit on 17 points and have fan bases with significantly higher expectations for these “big 6” clubs. Spurs have been struggling at home while United have been inconsistent on the road. Spurs have to deal with mid-week European matches while United are rested. United seem to have made progress, in their last 9 matches they are 5W 2D 2L and they have owned this matchup, winning 38, losing 10, drawing 12 in their last 60.

  • 9 Palace +125 v 10 BHA +203 SUN 8a - M23 DERBY - Big matchup in the race for Europe. Palace have been great at home, and in the last 10 at Selhurst Park both sides have scored 8 times. Feels like both sides have played better than their table position. BHA has struggled on the road although they did get a big win a couple weeks ago at Stamford Bridge.

  • 12 Brentford +188 v 13 Newcastle +139 SUN 8a - The Bee’s struggled at Palace last week and will welcome a home match against a Newcastle side that also struggled on the road last week. Over the last 12 matches Newcastle have 9W 2L 1D, but Brentford did win their last home match.

  • 14 Everton +119 v 15 Fulham +241 SAT 9a - Hill-Dickinson Stadium is a real home pitch advantage and FFC struggles on the road. Yet, Everton have been struggling themselves. In 40 matches Everton have 20W 8D 13L. FFC broke a 4 match losing streak, albeit to Wolves, last weekend. Everton got a good point on the road at Sunderland and should’ve have all three points.

Mismatch

  • 9 Chelsea -277 v 20 Wolves +713 SAT 2p - Wolves without their manager, traveling to Stamford bridge against a Chelsea side that had to travel all the way to Azerbaijan only to tie 2-2 in the Champions League. This is one of those games Chelsea need to dominate if only to not play down to the competition.

Headlines 📌

  • International Break. Match Week 12 will resume November 22.

  • ESPN. Enough is enough.

    • ESPN and YouTubeTV are in a dispute and YT viewers are not able to watch the ESPN channels. Last weekend that meant College Football, mid-week it meant College Basketball.

    • ESPN is looking to sell their new streaming service and this negotiation is most likely a strategy to push people to the new platform.

    • There seems to be fatigue on the consumers part, as people are tired of having to chase games on different streams.

    • How about this ESPN, just sell LIVE sporting events. Lose the other programming that people have had enough of.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ CAUTION - Too Much to Ignore ⚠️⚠️⚠️

There have been some International Soccer news stories from OFF THE PITCH that keep bubbling up. So, it’s time to bring them to your attention. Read at your own risk.

  • Aston Villa hosted Maccabi Tel Aviv (from Isreal) in Birmingham, UK.

    • The issue - Tel Aviv fans were NOT ALLOWED to attend the match.

    • Reported information -

      • The Police had concerns about fan clashes, additional protests, and overall safety.

      • “Birmingham Safety Advisory Group” informed Villa they would NOT ALLOW traveling fans to Villa Park.

      • Politicians supported the decision, while other politicians did not.

      • UK Prime Minister and other leaders condemned the decision.

      • The main reason Isreal is in UEFA and in these competitions is because most Middle Eastern clubs refuse to play the Isreal clubs.

      • Fans get screwed when politicians turn sport into the social/political debates.

      • The Maccabi club had to be secretly bussed into the stadium in Villa busses.

    • Chief of Police quote on the over 700 deployed officers to the match…"We police football matches a lot. We police protests a lot. We deal with all sorts of public order scenarios, but certainly the level of interest, the level of concern around this match is pretty unprecedented."

⚠️⚠️⚠️ CAUTION - Too Much to Ignore ⚠️⚠️⚠️

A soccer player named Banda, who failed a gender verification test ahead of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup plays in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the USA for the Orlando Pride. Banda finished in the “Best XI” of the NWSL league and was nominated for the Ballon d”or (best player) and the NWSL MVP.

On October 26, 2025, Angel City FC (NWSL) player Elizabeth Eddy published an op-ed in the NY Post titled “National Women’s Soccer League must adopt gender standards to keep growing.” In the article it is clear - no men in women’s sports.

Elizabeth Eddy

Two Angel City FC teammates of Eddy, Sarah Gorden and Paige Nielson, publicly rejected the op-ed as not being “inclusive”. There were players from other teams who also spoke against the op-ed.

The NWSL, NWSL Players Association and Orlando Pride then issued statements condemning the “hateful attacks” and commitment to inclusivity.

In response to the NWSL response, Clay Travis (Outkick) and Jennifer Sey (XX XY Athletics) have been very vocal supporting Women’s Sports.

NWSL is an unserious league until it addresses this.

Week 11 Picks

Liverpool to Win at Man City +266. $20

This is a value pick. Liverpool is too good not take +266. They did win last year at Etihad.

Chelsea to Win -1.5 v Wolves -101. $20

Stamford bridge against a lost Wolves side. BHA surprised Chelsea at the Bridge a couple weeks ago, they will not let Wolves do that.

Everton Fulham over 2.5 +114. $20

Everton scores more at Hill-Dickinson Stadium, feels like a 2-1 or 3-0 game.

Forest to Win v Leeds +121. $20

Sean Dyche and the home fans find a way.

Arsenal to Win via CS at Sunderland -104. $21

Keep riding the Arsenal CS train, even at Sunderland.

Spurs to Win v Man United +168. $20

Just don’t trust United on the road yet but do trust Thomas Frank to tactically have the advantage.

Palace v BHA over 3.5 goals +170. $20

Palace score at home, BHA score. Both teams will score but that line is too big so looking for a 3-1 or 2-2 score.

Longshots of the week

Mateta (Palace) to score +122. $5

Saka (Ars) to score +158. $5
