• CS Match of the Week. Plymouth Argyle 1-2 Leeds United. Leeds - The Whites - had secured a trip back to the PL already, but they needed to win this one to secure the Championship Title. Leeds needed the same or better result than Burnley, and at 90’ Burnley was winning, and Leeds were tied, that is until 90+1’ as Leeds won the title in extra time.

  • 100 points scored and needed goal differential to edge out Burnley, also on 100 points.

• Earned. No question The Whites earned it. Second place Burnley finished the season a 33-match unbeaten streak. straight and also scoring 100 points.

• Ed Sheeran Hands To Natasha Bedingfield. Speaking of Burnley, they will be heading back to the PL while Ed’s Ipswich Town heads back to The Championship.

  • Unwritten. The hit song by Bedingfield has been the theme song of Burnley. She sang the song live on the pitch during their promotion celebration and is now celebrating with the team in the locker room. Watch

• Worst Ever Watch. Southampton still sit on 11 points in the PL after a loss at Leicester City 0-2.

• Spurs, United & West Ham. Strange to see two of the Big 6 clubs that far down in the table and another large London club with them.

• Europe Race.

  • Forest Limping In. Just 2 wins in their last 6, not CL material. Their hope is to stay within 2 points of Chelsea over the next 2 matches as they then host The Blues on the final match day. Forest has a good chance for that as they host LCFC and go to West Ham before then.

  • Big Match Up. Chelsea head to Newcastle next, both sides fighting for CL.

  • 8th Place. Very good chance 8th place will mean a European spot this year and there are 4 teams in good position. Bournemouth, Brentford, BHA and FFC.

• Goal Differential. If teams are tied in points the next tie breaker is Goal Differential. If that’s tied, then it’s goals scored. Some tight GDs in the CL battle.

• Gunners. Arsenal are focused on the CL right now but they are in jeopardy of falling out of 2nd in the table if they keep their current run - 2W 3D 1L in their last 6.
