This is the Week
As you know the CS focusses primarily on the Premier League, but this week we divert our focus to the FINAL MATCH DAY across levels 2-4.
The Championship has 12 of the 24 teams with huge implications on the line. Reminder, a promotion to the PL is worth $300M+. Relegation is a big step back.
League 1 has 2 teams with key matches
League 2 has 8 teams with key matches.
Check out Hot Topic🔥🔥🔥 for the details and enjoy the matches!
CS Match of the Week. Man City -280 v Wolves +700 FRI 2p - Wolves may be 13th in the Table but they have collected the second most points across all Europe Legues in the last month. They are on a 6-game winning streak and have 19 points in their last 7 matches. City have been on their own winning streak, or at least no losing, with 6W 2D in their last 8. City seemed to have figured some things out and are playing with more energy as a CL spot is on the line as well as the FA Cup Finals.
1.4.4.1 Week. 1 Friday, 4 Saturday, 4 Sunday, 1 Monday.
FA Cup Implications. Palace take on City in the FA Cup Finals in a couple weeks. Europe spots are on the line. The winner of the FA Cup gets an automatic bid into the Europe League next season. That would be GREAT for Palace who sit outside Europe right now. IF City win the FA Cup AND finish in a CL or EL spot in the table, that Europa League spot will then go to the next highest PL finisher not already qualified for UEFA competitions.
Check out this scenario for the PL getting TEN teams into Europe next season.
![]() |
Such an improbable outcome would mean SIX English clubs playing in next year’s Champions League, THREE in the Europa League, and ONE in the Conference League. |
Mid-Week Result. Forest 0-2 Brentford. BIG win for the Bee’s BIG loss for the Tree’s. Brentford now just 1 point out of 10th and 2 out of 8th, Europe is definitely in play. Forest are in Europe next season but the question is what flavor.
Have Both Your Teams Won the Title In the Same Year. From @NFLUKIRE on X, great question. Congrats to Chiefs/City fans, Packer/United, Cowboy/United, Patriots/Chelsea, Steeler/Liverpool fans for pulling off the double at least 3 times. What really stands out is how crazy good United was for 20 years.

What 2 Look 4 👀- Match Week 34
YUGE Matches 🦕🦕
Man City -280 v Wolves +700 FRI 2p - See Above.
Chelsea +115 v Liverpool +220 SUN 1030a - Hungover celebrating title. Travel to London. Play a team fighting for the CL. Play a team who’s home pitch, Stamford Bridge, has been very good to them. Play a team who can beat the champions of the PL. Who will Liverpool start. This is why Chelsea are the favorites.
Aston Villa -135 v Fulham +360 SAT 630a - Villa hot streak as cooled after being knocked out of the FA Cup and CL and then a tough final second loss at City last week. Fulham is right in the Europe race but are inconsistent. They beat the league leader and last place team but loss twice in between those wins.
BHA +180 v Newcastle +135 SUN 8a - BHA is free falling while Newcastle is ascending. The Seagulls will need some home cooking as they have just 1 win in their last 5.
Palace +130 v Forest +210 MON 2p - The Tree’s surprising run is faltering down the stretch with 3 losses in their last 4. They are most likely in Europe, but it seems like the big prize is slipping away. Last season Palace finished on a winning streak and the same thing is happening this season. The FA Cup final is looming as well as one final push for a Europe spot next season.
BIG Matches 🦣🦣
Arsenal +110 v Bournemouth +240 SAT 1130a - The Cherries are right in the Europe fight. The Gunner’s are looking to try and finish on a high note, but their main focus is next week’s Champions League Match in Paris.
Brentford -160 v Man United +425 SUN 8a - Suddenly a huge match for the Bee’s while Man United will be all in on trying to make the Europa League Finals which seems like it could be an all PL Final.
Matches 🐁🐁
Leicester City +125 v Southampton +200 SAT 9a - The Foxes are limping to the end of the season while The Saints are fighting to get over 11 points.
Everton -210 v Ipswich Town +600 SAT 9a - Everton would like to finish out Goodison on a winning streak.
West Ham +120 v Tottenham +200 SUN 8a - Spurs are all in on the Europa League. Winner moves ahead of the other.

Leeds win the title with a similar result to Burnley.

What CS will be watching -
Primary TV - Coventry City v Middlesborough. A CC win and they make the promotion playoff, a M win, and a little help, they make the playoff (they need 2 of 3 to not win - Bristol, Millwall, Blackburn).
Bristol City v Preston North End. A BC win and they are in the Playoff while PNE could be relegated with a draw or loss.
Portsmouth v Hull City. A loss by Hull and all the other relegation contenders are safe, a draw or win by Hull and 4 clubs are in danger.
Millwall at Burnley. IF CC OR BC draw or lose, Millwall is in with a Win. Burnley also has a chance to win the League title if they can get a result better than Leeds.
Blackburn at Sheffield United. IF 2 of the 3 of these teams draw or lose - CC, BC, Millwall - a Blackburn win moves them into the playoff.
IF Hull draws or loses - the matches will be on
Luton Town @ West Brom. A LT loss and a Hull win or draw and LT gets back-to-back relegation. Just last season they were in the PL.
Derby v Stoke. Loser is in trouble, a draw is good for Stoke, not for Derby.
League 1 - Level 3
All Matches on Paramount+ at 9am SAT.
1 Auto promotion spot is up for grabs and 2 playoff promotion spots.
8 teams are fighting for one of those 3 spots.
Relegation is decided.

What CS will be watching -
Leyton Orient at Huddersfield Town. LO must get the same or better result than Reading to make the playoff.
Reading v Barnsley. Will not make up the goal differential so must hope for a LO draw/loss and must win/draw in that order.
League 2 - Level 4
All Matches on Paramount+ at 9am SAT.
8 Teams fighting for 1 auto promotion spot and 2 promotion playoff spots.
Relegation is decided.
Shout out to Milton Keynes Dons for avoiding relegation - Milton Keynes was a CS work stop in the far East of London at the Case New Holland Tractor Plant many years ago.

What CS will be watching -
Bradford City v Fleetwood Town. A BC win and they are promoted to league 1.
Walsall at Crewe Alexandra. IF BC draw/lose Walsall will be promoted with a win.
Notts County v Doncaster Rovers. A BC loss AND Walsall draw or loss and a Notts win would mean Notts is promoted depending on the size of BCs loss and Notts win.
Grimsby Town v Wimbledon. Winner makes the playoff. A draw and Wimbledon makes the playoff and GT needs help.
Salford at Carlisle United. Salford make the playoff with a win, a draw or loss means they need GT, Chesterfield AND Colchester to lose.
Chesterfield at Accrington Stanley. Chesterfield needs a win and some help to get them into the playoffs, a draw and it’s still possible but not likely.
Colchester United v Barrow. CU must win and then get help from the three teams ahead of them in the standings.
Off Island 🏝️
Champions League
Arsenal have work to do as they lost 0-1 at home to PSG and will need to go to Paris and win to have a chance to advance.
Barcelona and Inter Milan put on a SHOW - a 3-3 draw - with non-stop action. They will meet next week in Milan, and it should be just as exciting.
Here is Barcelona’s third goal, I’m told this is a play right out of Arrowhead HS soccer playbook…..Watch.
Europa League
Man United went to Bilbao Spain and dominated Athletic 3-0. Will have a big lead in next week’s match at Old Trafford.
Spurs beat Bodo Glimt 3-1 and will have a 2-goal advantage heading to the Artic Circle of Norway for the return match.
UEFA Conference League
Swedish side Djurgarden were no match for Chelsea in Stockholm. The Blues will have a 3-goal advantage heading back to Stamford Bridge next week.
Real Betis beat Fiorentina 2-1 at home and will head to Italy with a goal advantage.

Match Week 35
Aston Villa to Win v Fulham -135. $54
Villa is now only playing for the CL after being knocked out of the CL and FA Cup. They’s been a hot team, expect that to continue.
Southampton to Win at Leicester City +200. $20
Leicester City is struggling and while Southampton have not been winning, they have been in matches. Foxes will need to score, and they have struggled doing that.
Newcastle to Win at BHA +135. $20
BHA is struggling down the stretch and Newcastle are playing for CL. Even the long trip South will not get in their way.
Chelsea to Win v Liverpool +115. $20
The Blues catch The Reds on a hangover and Stamford Bridge will be ready.
Palace to Win v Forest +130. $20
Palace have been playing great soccer, just like they did down the stretch las season. Forest may not have enough to go on the road and get all three points.
Wolves to Win at City +700. $10
City should win this one, but I like the +700 for a team with the second most points in Europe over the last month.
