    • Everton. Since David Moyes took over the Toffee’s no other team had taken more points in the PL, however they couldn’t get it done at Liverpool falling 0-1. Liverpool goal here.

    • Against the Former Club. Anthony Elanga scores for Forest, what a goal against his former side Man United. Here is the goal with his interview.

    • GBP. Crazy stat, since 1992 the London Derby has seen Chelsea win 36 and Spurs win 8. In the history of the rivalry, 179 matches have been played, Chelsea have won 81, Spurs 55 with 43 draws.

      • Kind of reminds CS of the Packers-Bears rivalry. Since 1990 Green Bay has also dominated the rivalry, winning 51 and losing 20.

Current Situation 📈📉

  • Liverpool have a 12-point lead with 8 matches to play. If Arsenal win out, Liverpool would need to most likely lose 3-4 matches. They have lost 1 all season.

  • Forest kept pace with Chelsea and City and take a 6 point lead into the race for top 4.

  • Wolves took a 9-point lead over the top of Relegation, just can’t see any of the bottom 3 teams catching them.

  • Newcastle and Palace do have a game in hand which could impact the push for Europe.

  • Very little movement in the standings from last week.

Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Crashers

Long story short - CS and companions stumbled across a VIP party being thrown by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism at John Watling’s Distillery. The event was to celebrate the countries new tourism campaign, their partnership with Bahamas Music Star Lady E, and to launch their music video you will might start to see in ad campaigns - Holiday (check out the YT Video). Lady E was a GREAT host!

Calm before the show

The tour of the Distillery was equally impressive and really brought an authenticity to some of the Bahamas's history. Definitely felt like a step back in time.

Which brings us to a history lesson and the highlight of the evening.

The Golden Age of Piracy is considered 1650 to the 1720’s. Henry Avery looted over $100,000 from the East India Trading Company in 1696 and escaped capture to Nassau in the Bahamas. In 1713 Benjamin Hornigold declared Nassau the “Pirate’s Republic” with over 1,000 Pirates in the area. Hornigold acquired a fleet of ships with over 400 crew and appointed Edward Teach commander of his largest ship - Queen Anne’s Revenge. Teach became a “legend”, you may recognize him as - Blackbeard.

On September 5, 1717, King George I issued the “Proclamation for Suppressing of Pirates” - The King’s Pardon. If you surrendered by September 5, 1718, you would be granted clemency. The majority of Pirates took the deal and went to work for the King as Privateers tracking down the remaining Pirates. The King also assigned Woodes Rogers the first Governor in Chief of Nassau.

Pirates are often synonymous with Rum. Rum has been an Industry in the Bahamas since the 17th century, all distilled from sugar cane. John Watling’s is named after a 17th Century buccaneer named Pious Pirate, because he observed the Sabbath and forbade all forms of gambling aboard his ships.

The highlight of the evening was when Julien Believe and Shine242 performed the recently released song Whip Whap. Fortunately, it is not possible to share videos of the dance floor.

Match Week 31 Guesses

Ipswich Town to Win v Wolves+175. $20

Both sides have been playing better. If Ipswich wins, they will be within 6 points of Wolves with 7 to play so let’s take the home team to put the pressure on Wolves.

Everton Arsenal to Draw +240. $20

Everton have been tough defensively and while Arsenal can score, I like Moyes to find a way to get a point at Goodison.

Brentford to Win v Chelsea +213. $20

Chelsea are playing better and for the top 4 but it’s Bee’s have played the Blues tough the last couple years.

Newcastle to Win at Leicester City -210. $42

Just feels like LCFC has mailed it in. Sure they could find one big game in them, but there is too much on the line for Newcastle to not win this one.

West Ham to Win v Bournemouth +200. $20

Bournemouth are struggling and the Hammer’s will find goals at home.

Longshots of the week

Newcastle to WIN 2-0 at LCFC +570 $10.

Newcastle to WIN 3-0 at LCFC +810 $10.

Ipswich, West Ham, Brentford to Win +2273 $10.
