• CS Match of the Week. BHA +100 v Aston Villa +240 WED 145p - Europe hopes abound. BHA has regained their footing while Villa seems to play better rested than back-to-back. Will make for an interesting match on the South coast. Winner could be in a Europe spot and will definitely have the upper hand on the other side.

• 3.6.1 Week. 3 Tuesday, 6 Wednesday, 1 Thursday.

• FA CUP Quarterfinals. 4 matches this weekend to advance to the semi’s

  • Fulham 0-3 Palace. Palace into the Semi’s.

  • BHA 0-0 (3-4) Forest. Forest advance AGAIN on PKs, this time at BHA.

  • Preston 0-3 Villa. Up the Villa into the Semi’s.

  • Bournemouth 1-2 Man City. City still have a chance at a trophy.

• USMNT. Just a Shite effort and performance from the USMNT as they lose to Panama and Canada over the international break, 0-1 and 1-2. This is opened the flood gates of criticism - on the players effort, Poch and the federation overall. Add to that the complete lack of fan attendance in Jerry World (Cowboy Stadium in Dallas) and it’s clear this is not a one trick fix. Little over a year before the World Cup. Lot’s to be done.

  • CS Opinion - As said many times before, this is a cultural problem whose blame lays clearly on the US National Team confederation, top down. Here are contributors:

    • The attitude of this organization’s leadership.

    • Disregarding what could be their fan base.

    • Poor marketing.

    • Poor scheduling.

    • Poor negotiating and tv deals.

    • Relationship with MLS, and MLS’ inability to create interest (See Apple deal).

    • Focus on social politics.

    • I would love to hear others opinions. It is so frustrating, and predictable.

Tuesday

• Arsenal -240 v Fulham +750 TUE 245p - LONDON DERBY (North v West). For any chance at the title, it’s must win out for the Gunners. FFC need to turn it on for a Europe shot.

• Wolves +135 v West Ham +210 TUE 245p - Both sides basically playing for positioning below the top 10.

• Forest +125 v Man United +210 TUE 3p - Can Forest keep the top 4 run going, and the FA Cup success, as they host one of the biggest clubs in the world, struggling.

Wednesday

• BHA +100 v Aston Villa +240 WED 145p - See Above.

• Bournemouth -260 v Ipswich Town +700 WED 245p - Who took adavantage of the break. The Cherries had their FA Cup quarterfinals but do get a home match coming out of the break, they’ve been struggling in the PL.

• Man City -600 v Leicester City +1400 WED 245p - On paper, this is all City. Off paper, this is all City. And City’s weekend FA Cup quarters will not be a factor. LCFC have just not been scoring.

• Newcastle -140 v Brentford +340 WED 245p - The Magpies needed the break, can they take advantage against an overmatched Bee’s side.

• Southampton +425 v Palace -160 WED 245p - Chance for Palace to make their late season run, this time for Europe, but something says they will finish between 10-12 like every other year.

• Liverpool -280 v Everton +750 WED 3p - MERSEYSIDE DERBY - Just need to finish out the season and win a title, can Liverpool but the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Champions League losses behind them? The sides drew earlier this year at Goodison.

Thursday

• Chelsea -165 v Tottenham +380 THUR 3p - LONDON DERBY (North v West). Different parts of the table but lots of similarities with both side not playing the way they would like. When Big 6 vlubs meet, throw out the record books.

Will the FA Cup match and quick turnaround impact the Cherries and can the long break help Ipswich for the final run it. Those are the questions, and it seems +700 is big enough to take a run with the Tractor Boys.

BHA Villa to Draw +280. $20

Both sides played in the FA Cup so will be in similar positions. Both sides are pushing for Europe. Feels like a draw.

Wolves to Win v West Ham +135. $20

Wolves need the points more than the Hammers, are at home and will benefit from the break.
